4.i.1 is the result of a formal research conducted at ECAL in 2024.
Industrial parts and the old technique of chainmail cohabit in wearable chains. Mixing artisanal approach and industrial steel pieces changes how we view these standard fragments. It shifts their purely technical and functional aspect into ornamental jewellery and invites to look for beauty where we wouldn’t usually.
All of the chains are hand assembled in Switzerland.
